Commodity Quality Leader – Automotive Diagnostics

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is seeking a Commodity Quality Leader to drive quality initiatives for automotive diagnostic systems during vehicle assembly. The role supports the launch phase, conducts failure analysis, and ensures corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with assembly teams to support vehicle build processes.
• Reinforce the team during the plant launch phase.
• Participate in daily morning/evening vehicle “obeyas” for failure analysis.
• Draft, cost, and explain palliative and containment actions, and verify their proper implementation.
• Work with the Engineering Core Team to develop containment actions and final solutions for quality issues.
• Manage PPAP grid documentation and support transfer to serial production.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Electrical or Control Systems Engineering.
• Minimum five years of automotive experience with electronic/electrical systems in product development, manufacturing or quality.

Required skills

• Proven knowledge of quality tools, methods and processes in the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for global executive audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
