Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across its manufacturing plant. The role focuses on deploying the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), reducing waste, shortening lead times, and embedding a culture of operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to define and execute the Continuous Improvement strategy, aligning with top‑down objectives.
• Lead ELSS (Eaton Lean Six Sigma) tool deployment and ensure consistent application across the plant.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), and other process‑improvement projects.
• Support Industry 4.0 and digitalization initiatives, leveraging data, automation, and connected systems.
• Assess training needs, design development plans, and train employees on Lean, Problem Solving, Six Sigma, and DFSS methodologies.
• Mentor teams in adopting and sustaining continuous‑improvement and digital practices.
• Chair the plant Continuous Improvement Council to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Inventory, and Cost.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading continuous‑improvement programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and ELSS methodologies.
• Ability to coach and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
