Contract Responsible

About the role

ACCIONA, a global leader in regenerative infrastructure, is seeking a Contract Responsible for its water business line project in Casablanca. The role supports the Project Director in managing the main construction contract, ensuring compliance with time, cost, quality, safety and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the main contract and schedules, monitor formal notices, time limits and contractual parameters.
• Develop and maintain contract documentation such as a Contract Manual and risk transfer mechanisms.
• Prepare and negotiate submissions for variations, extensions of time and claims, ensuring proper substantiation.
• Monitor exposure to liquidated damages and coordinate with the legal department on dispute management and contractual interpretations.
• Provide contractual support to the procurement team and ensure effective communication with subcontractors and site personnel.

Required profile

• MSc in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in large construction projects, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar contract management role.
• Additional qualification in law or construction contracts is valued.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic or Spanish a plus.
