Contracting Manager, Middle East & North Africa

About the role
As the Regional Contracting Manager you will shape how G Adventures sources, negotiates and manages supplier relationships across the Middle East & North Africa. You will lead a dedicated buying team, ensure contracts align with sustainability and ethical goals, and drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the Buying Strategy: develop and execute regional purchasing plans that maximise cost efficiency without cutting corners on quality.
- Build Epic Partnerships: source new vendors, run RFPs, monitor market trends and manage relationships to secure competitive pricing and high‑quality service.
- Own the Contracts: manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle (negotiations, renewals, amendments) while embedding social‑enterprise values and legal standards.
- Captain the Squad: lead, mentor and inspire the regional buying team to achieve operational and performance targets.
- Share the Knowledge: act as the go‑to contracting expert for other departments, providing cross‑functional training and best‑practice support.
- Own the Numbers: manage the regional travel budget, track expenditures and analyse financial reports with senior leadership to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Mitigate Risk & Stay Compliant: partner with Legal to ensure alignment with corporate governance and maintain a spotless contract repository.
- Keep it Green: protect sustainability and ethical goals throughout vendor selection and audit processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
- At least 6 years of experience in travel, buying and operations within the region.
- Proven track record negotiating large‑scale contracts and managing complex vendor relationships.
- Deep knowledge of western and global tourism markets, competitor landscapes and industry trends.
- Advanced communication skills in English plus fluency in at least one additional regional language.
- Exceptional organisational and administrative abilities, able to juggle conflicting demands and tight deadlines.

- Proficiency with contract management systems.
- Experience using internal tracking software.
- Advanced financial reporting tools.
