Coordinator, Cybersecurity Awareness and Training

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and working within the Corporate IT team, you will lead the development and delivery of security awareness initiatives that strengthen the organization’s security culture. You will create engaging learning experiences, drive behavioural change, and help reduce human‑based cyber risks across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and continuously improve the corporate security awareness program in partnership with the CISO.
• Create and maintain training content such as presentations, videos, newsletters, micro‑learning modules and phishing campaigns.
• Plan and run recurring cyber‑awareness events (Cyber Month, themed campaigns, live sessions, tabletop exercises, etc.).
• Coordinate phishing simulations: scenario design, deployment, tracking and reporting to stakeholders.
• Monitor training compliance, track completion rates and support internal audits.
• Collaborate with Human Capital, Legal, Communications, IT, Operations and Risk Management to ensure consistent messaging and integration with onboarding.
• Benchmark program maturity against NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls and propose improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships for security awareness platforms and learning tools.
• Collect employee feedback and assess program effectiveness for continuous enhancement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in security awareness, training development, instructional design or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, ISO 27001 controls, and common threats such as phishing and social engineering.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to translate complex topics into clear messages.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work autonomously.
• Creativity in designing compelling learning materials and campaigns.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls frameworks.
• Experience with phishing simulation tools and security awareness platforms (e.g., KnowBe4, Proofpoint, Terranova).
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
