Cost Accountant

About the role

COBCO is seeking a Cost Accountant (Financial Controller) to support financial performance and operational efficiency at its Jorf Lasfar site. The role will be central to budget management, cost control, and cross‑functional financial coordination within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
• Support forecasting activities and ensure financial visibility across departments.
• Analyze costs, identify optimisation opportunities and ensure rigorous cost tracking.
• Provide clear, structured financial analysis and reporting to management.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, HR and other functions to align financial and operational goals.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the industrial sector; chemical industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (company working language).
• Ability to work in an international Chinese‑Moroccan environment with strong cultural adaptability.
