Cost & GL Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Cost & GL Accountant with 2 years of relevant experience to join our Finance team. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, managing general ledger activities, analyzing costs, and supporting monthly closing and financial reporting using Odoo ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily accounting transactions on Odoo.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank, supplier, customer, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze company costs and expenses.
• Prepare cost reports and compare actual costs versus budgets or prior periods.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger and Cost Accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well within a team.
