Country Sales Manager - Casablanca

About the role

Qatar Airways is looking for a Country Sales Manager to join its Commercial team in Casablanca, Morocco. Based in Casablanca, you will lead a sales team of seven people covering the corporate and leisure segments for Casablanca and Marrakesh, with the aim of exceeding commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a sales team of seven people across the Casablanca and Marrakesh corporate and leisure teams.
• Develop and rationalise the allocation of resources, skills and activities to drive profitable revenue and reduce the cost of sale from priority sales channels.
• Define the strategic direction of the sales team and the best way to grow sales through commercial actions and partnerships.
• Structure and implement sales plans to optimise Qatar Airways revenue and market presence for key, strategic and national accounts.
• Improve the focus and alignment of key distribution channels in Casablanca and Marrakesh with the airline's distribution strategy.
• Maximise revenue from existing accounts and create revenue from new business, and recommend the regional sales strategy.

Required profile

• Proven record of success in corporate and leisure sales leadership within the airline or travel industry.
• Expertise in negotiating and managing complex corporate and leisure portfolios, with a track record of exceeding commercial targets.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and relationship-building skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; excellent geographical knowledge and contacts in Morocco are an advantage.
• Legal right to live and work in Morocco is mandatory.
