Creative Writer – Remote (Contract / Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Creative Writer to become the voice of our brand. Working remotely, you will blend emotional storytelling with strategic marketing goals to produce high‑conversion copy, engaging scripts, and immersive blog posts that resonate with our audience across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across website, email, social media, and newsletters.
• Write long‑form and short‑form content, including blogs, articles, whitepapers, and ad copy.
• Conceptualize and script audio‑visual content for podcasts, YouTube, TikTok, and Meta ads.
• Research cultural trends and optimize content for SEO to boost organic reach.
• Collaborate with remote design and video teams to align written and visual assets.

Required profile

• Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional creative writing, copywriting, or content creation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand storytelling and scriptwriting.
• Deep understanding of African socio‑economic and pop‑culture contexts.
• Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, and proofreading.
