Cultural Content Reviewer – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for Cultural Content Reviewers to help train AI systems to be culturally intelligent. In this remote, hourly‑contract role you will evaluate AI‑generated text, images and recommendations to ensure they resonate authentically with people in your region.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated content for cultural accuracy, sensitivity and relevance.
• Flag material that is inappropriate, outdated, stereotypical or potentially offensive.
• Provide regional context and suggest culturally authentic alternatives.
• Assess translations and localisations for naturalness to a local audience.
• Deliver clear, structured feedback that helps improve AI models.
• Work independently and asynchronously according to your own schedule.

Required profile

• Deep, firsthand familiarity with the customs, norms, humor, taboos and values of your culture or region.
• Ability to spot cultural missteps that an outsider would miss.
• Strong written communication to explain why something feels off.
• Thoughtful, open‑minded and consistent in evaluations.
• No formal academic background in cultural studies required.
