Customer Service Contact (M/F)

About the role

The Customer Service Contact will act as the main liaison between our customers and the internal supply‑chain teams. You will ensure that customer demand is accurately captured, integrated into production plans and delivered on time, while maintaining high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Receive customer schedules via EDI, webEDI or paper and load them into the system.
• Validate data, resolve integration errors and highlight large order variations.
• Release picking lists, monitor procurement, production and shipping to meet delivery targets.
• Track safety stock, manage MOQ, lead‑time and transportation parameters.
• Prepare customs documentation for exports when required.
• Communicate precise information to customers, adapting frequency and method to the situation.
• Negotiate delivery dates, ensure internal feasibility and coordinate with sales during crises.
• Escalate issues through the Logistics Red Alert system and train backup personnel.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple customer accounts.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can coordinate across logistics, production and sales.

Required skills

• Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain processes and master production scheduling.
• Knowledge of customs documentation and logistics coordination.
