Customs Management Administrator (Customs Declarant)

About the role

The Customs Management Administrator ensures that all import and export customs documentation is prepared accurately, classifies tariffs, and verifies compliance with Moroccan customs and tax regulations. You will act as the main liaison between clients, internal sites, and the Customs and Tax Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on customs files and provisional declarations.
• Record transactions, update the information system, and enter declarations into the BADR system.
• Attend inspections, coordinate customs operations with clients and internal entities, and communicate updates.
• Handle administrative follow‑up, manage discrepancies, and respond to requests or complaints.
• File, archive, and manage documentation, and monitor due payments and liquidations.
• Conduct research and studies on customs matters and ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Bac+2 degree in customs declaration, international trade, logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within transport and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan customs regulations.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with customs management software (e.g., BADR system).
• Strong IT tool proficiency for data entry and reporting.
