Cybersecurity & Cyber Defense Analyst Internship

About the role

Join IDEMIA's Cybersecurity team in Casablanca for a 4‑6 month internship focused on the secure adoption of artificial intelligence. You will work on real‑world projects that modernize infrastructure, improve data security, and embed security controls into development pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Cybersecurity team in adapting the technical environment for AI security and governance.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization and enhance data management and protection.
• Participate in risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and follow‑up remediation.
• Integrate security controls into DevSecOps workflows.
• Help ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, OWASP, and AI governance requirements.

Required profile

• Final‑year student in engineering, computer science or a related field with a cybersecurity specialization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Proficient in English and a keen interest in AI security challenges.

Required skills

• Knowledge of system, network and application security.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nexus IQ, SonarQube, NVD and NIST.
