Data & AI Automation Consultant (Power BI & BI) – Freelance

About the role

We are seeking a Data & AI Automation Consultant to design, implement, and optimise intelligent reporting and automation solutions that boost business performance, operational efficiency and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, KPI frameworks and data models.
• Connect, consolidate and transform data from CRM, ERP, finance, operations and external platforms, building automated data pipelines.
• Create automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate, including reporting distribution and notifications.
• Research, evaluate and integrate AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI or ChatGPT APIs into business processes to generate automated summaries and insights.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, translate business challenges into technical solutions and provide training to end users.
• Continuously monitor emerging BI, AI and automation trends and propose improvements to increase data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Power BI development, data integration and automation projects.
• Proven track record of building enterprise‑level Power BI solutions and integrating data from multiple business systems.
• Experience implementing automation workflows and familiarity with AI‑powered reporting solutions.
