Data Analyst & Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst & Software Developer to manage and govern Databricks environments, ensure data security, and support DevOps automation across development, test and production platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Databricks workspaces (DEV, TEST, PROD), manage user access, roles, and permissions, and integrate identity provisioning via Azure AD and AWS IAM.
• Operate and support notebooks, jobs, clusters, and SQL Warehouses, enforce usage policies, and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Implement data governance through Unity Catalog, manage catalogs, schemas, tables, and enforce access controls and compliance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for Databricks deployments, automate workflows using Git‑based processes and maintain deployment templates.
• Monitor platform usage, track costs, and contribute to tagging and cost‑allocation strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Data Platform Engineer with a solid understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities and effective communication in English.

Required skills

• Databricks administration (workspace, cluster, Unity Catalog).
• Azure AD, AWS IAM, and general cloud services (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus).
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform (experience preferred).
• Scripting with Python and/or Bash.
• Version control and CI/CD tools (Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Databricks CLI, REST APIs, and Asset Bundles.
