Data Architect / Engineer – Telecom & OSS

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is expanding its Data team and seeks experienced Data Architects and Data Engineers with deep knowledge of Telecom and OSS environments. You will design and implement enterprise data models that align business needs, operational processes, and technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise data models in line with TM Forum SID standards.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable data and solution designs.
• Analyse, map, and harmonise data across multiple OSS systems.
• Define data ownership, mastership rules, business objects, and data standards.
• Produce detailed analysis and design deliverables to support architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with business, operational, and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment of data solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of standardised data models and cross‑system mapping frameworks, focusing on ORI, MOST, and IRP.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and governance across enterprise data assets.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Data Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecom and OSS environments.
• Strong knowledge of TM Forum SID and telecom data‑modeling principles.
• Proven experience in solution design and data‑architecture activities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.
