Data Engineer – Data Platforms & DevOps

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our data platforms team. The role combines data engineering and DevOps responsibilities, focusing on building reliable, high‑performance pipelines that feed our cloud‑based analytics ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Ensure data flow quality, performance, and reliability.
- Support monitoring, incident response, and continuous optimisation of data processes.
- Produce technical documentation and data model diagrams.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate middleware and cloud services.
Required profile
- Approximately six years of hands‑on experience in data engineering or DevOps.
- Proven ability to work on cloud data platforms and middleware environments.
Required skills
- Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Databricks.
- DataOps practices.
- Python programming.
- Fundamentals of data transformation.
- Spec‑driven development (preferred).
- Agentic acceleration concepts (preferred).
