Data Engineer

About the role

SII Group Morocco is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning workloads. You will work in an inclusive, flexible environment across Casablanca, Oujda and Rabat, collaborating with internal teams to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse data sources.
• Model and optimise relational and big‑data storage systems.
• Build APIs and data services for internal consumers.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑based data platforms on AWS, Azure or GCP.

Required profile

• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to work autonomously and solve complex problems.
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and integration concepts.

Required skills

• SQL and relational databases.
• Spark, Hadoop and other distributed compute frameworks.
• Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP – S3, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
• Python programming, APIs and micro‑services development.
• High‑performance computing frameworks.
