Data Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting and machine‑learning workloads. The role will be part of our technology consulting team serving clients across Morocco and will work in a flexible, remote‑friendly environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources.
- Model and optimise relational and big‑data storage systems.
- Build APIs and data services for internal consumers.
- Deploy and manage cloud‑based data platforms on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Required profile
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on performance tuning.
Required skills
- SQL and relational databases.
- Python programming.
- Big‑data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Cloud services on AWS, Azure or GCP (e.g., S3, BigQuery, Redshift).
- API development and micro‑services architecture.
