Data Engineer Manager – Casablanca

About the role

As a Data Engineer at Artefact, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms that power analytics, AI, and business decision‑making, working closely with data scientists, analytics engineers and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and maintain cloud‑based data architectures and foundations for AI use cases.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance and optimize workflows for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.

Required profile

• Passionate about solving complex data challenges and eager to learn new technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking and collaborative communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and modern data stack technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Building data pipelines using orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, CI/CD, version control (Git) and DevOps principles.
