DataStage Architect – Remote (5‑10 yrs experience)

About the role

AFRICASHORE is seeking a seasoned DataStage Architect to join its remote team serving clients across Morocco and internationally. The role focuses on designing, implementing and supervising data migration and integration solutions on major cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee data migration projects, allocating resources and ensuring delivery milestones are met.
• Supervise implementation, monitor workloads, and produce regular quantitative and qualitative reports.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, DOT teams and business units to align technical solutions.
• Manage internal and external resources on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Produce project documentation such as specifications, selection files and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in product installation, configuration, troubleshooting and deliver classroom training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cloud Computing or a related field.
• 5 + years of experience in data migration and integration.
• Hands‑on experience designing and building infrastructure on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Proven ability to create cloud migration strategies, delivery architectures and migration run‑books.

• DataStage version 11.0 or higher.
