About the role

As a Senior Customs Declarant at NAVIROC, you will support customers in preparing, reviewing and submitting customs declarations for both import and export shipments. The role ensures compliance with local and international regulations while working closely with customs authorities, carriers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify and submit customs declarations for import and export shipments.
• Liaise with customs authorities, carriers, freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation.
• Check commercial and transport documents, monitor shipment status and resolve customs‑related issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in internal systems and support audit activities.
• Identify opportunities to optimise customs procedures and provide guidance on tariff classification.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures and tariff classification.
• Experience with import/export documentation and international trade processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files under time constraints.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with clients, carriers and authorities.
• Relevant education in logistics, international trade or business administration; customs or trade compliance certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a customs declarant, customs agent or similar role in transport and logistics.
