Demi Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Rabat Marriott Hotel is looking for a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, preparing high‑quality dishes that meet the hotel’s standards of taste and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble hot and cold dishes, ensuring consistency, quality and proper plating.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food temperatures, conduct taste tests and adjust cooking times as needed.
• Set up and break down work stations, maintain cleanliness, and disinfect tools, surfaces and equipment.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work long shifts standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lb and performing repetitive motions.
