Desk Side Services Administrator – AMT Asset Management

About the role

We are looking for a Desk Side Services Administrator to provide technical support to administrative and operations staff on desktop computers, applications and related technology. The role is based in Lyon and requires fluent French and good English to interact with teams in France, Poland and India.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and document end‑user technical issues on desktops, laptops, workstations and printers.
• Provide basic connectivity support for fixed and mobile telephony, VOIP and smartphone MDM solutions.
• Install, configure, re‑install and image software and operating systems, including remote installations.
• Perform iMac functions such as hardware installation and de‑commissioning.
• Manage backup and restore activities and related system administration tasks.
• Prioritise and resolve tickets using the ServiceNow ticketing platform.
• Share knowledge and train internal teams on hardware and software usage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or maintenance.
• Strong user‑support orientation with excellent written and verbal French communication.
• Good level of English to collaborate with English‑only teams.
• Ability to work autonomously while reporting to a manager.

Required skills

• ServiceNow ticketing tool.
• ITIL knowledge (certification preferred).
• Microsoft Windows installation and troubleshooting.
• Desktop and workstation hardware installation and repair.
• Printer support and imaging/remastering of PCs.
• VOIP, mobile telephony and MDM (Mobile Device Management) basics.
• Remote desktop control and video‑conferencing tools.
