About the role

ALTEN MAROC is looking for an experienced Back‑End Engineer specialized in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka to design, develop and maintain high‑performance micro‑service applications. The role involves working in an event‑driven architecture and collaborating with product, design and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain back‑end applications using Java 21‑24, Spring Boot 3‑4 and Kafka.
• Architect micro‑service and event‑driven solutions following clean‑architecture principles.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (Kubernetes, GCP Cloud, GitLab CI) for continuous delivery.
• Use monitoring and alerting tools such as Kibana and Grafana.
• Perform advanced profiling and resource optimisation.
• Collaborate across product, design and tech teams to meet business needs.
• Participate in all software‑development phases from design to production and maintenance.
• Integrate generative AI tools to improve development processes.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of professional experience in Java back‑end development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21‑24, Spring Boot 3‑4 and Kafka.
• Experience with micro‑service, event‑driven and clean‑architecture designs.
• Proficiency with Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent written and spoken French, analytical mindset and teamwork orientation.
