DevOps Engineer – Data Platform

About the role

CIH Bank’s Data Office is expanding its data platform and needs a skilled DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers analytics, BI and predictive models. You will work closely with data engineers and software developers to ensure reliable, automated delivery of services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Create and manage Ansible roles for data‑processing servers and Ubuntu workstations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into infrastructure solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and tools that integrate with big‑data ecosystems.
• Participate in project‑management decisions and provide technical guidance.
• Define and document procedures for system troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable software‑engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of GitLab workflow and CI/CD concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible (or Molecule) for configuration management.
• Proficiency in Bash/ZSH scripting and Python programming.
• Familiarity with Test‑Driven Development practices.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Problem‑solving mindset and collaborative team spirit.
