Digital Close Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Close Consultant to join Deloitte Extended Services’ finance transformation team. In this role you will help clients modernize their financial close processes by implementing leading digital close platforms and leveraging emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and configuration of digital close solutions such as BlackLine, Redwood, Workiva and OneStream.
• Support finance transformation projects focused on streamlining financial reporting, inter‑company reconciliation and close cycles.
• Gather client requirements, analyse current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in solution design, deployment and testing phases to ensure timely delivery.
• Leverage Generative AI and other emerging technologies to automate finance tasks and enhance efficiency.
• Prepare documentation, training materials and presentations to facilitate tool adoption.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams on digital close methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting or a similar role.
• Strong interest in finance and accounting processes and digital innovation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with BlackLine, Redwood, Workiva or OneStream.
• Familiarity with Generative AI applications in finance.
