Digital Operations Manager

About the role

As a Digital Operations Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end digitalisation of the Smart Factory, ensuring reliable production data and streamlined shop‑floor processes. You will work closely with Operations, Digital Solutions, Process Simplification and IT to drive performance improvements across OEE, productivity, quality and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and execute the MES Hydra roadmap aligned with the Smart Factory strategy.
• Ensure availability, performance and scalability of MES Hydra at plant level and across sites.
• Design target architecture for machine connectivity, lead rollout of IoT for new and existing equipment, and standardise data models.
• Coordinate suppliers, system integrators and IoT vendors to validate technical solutions.
• Lead major Smart Factory initiatives, managing project planning, budget, risks and reporting.
• Translate business needs from Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics into sustainable digital solutions.
• Map and analyse operational processes, co‑design standardised data‑driven workflows and define performance KPIs.
• Guarantee integrity and availability of production data, enable real‑time monitoring, diagnostics and predictive analytics.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MES and industrial IoT programmes in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on process simplification and waste reduction.
