Digitalization Engineer

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Digitalization Engineer to design, build, and maintain digital solutions that support its manufacturing and business processes. The role involves translating statements of work into technical deliverables, ensuring security, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build, iterate, and maintain applications under SCO direction, owning technical execution and reliability.
• Interpret SOW documents to define scope, deliverables, timelines, and acceptance criteria for digitalization projects.
• Design and develop software applications, automation scripts, data pipelines, dashboards, and system integrations.
• Integrate digital tools with existing platforms such as QAD and ITAC.
• Produce technical documentation, conduct unit, integration, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to clarify requirements and report progress.
• Manage change control, update SOW documentation, and provide post‑deployment support and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital or IT transformation roles.

Required skills

• Development on the Foundry platform.
• Integration with QAD and ITAC systems.
• Software application development, automation scripting, and data pipeline creation.
• Dashboard development and system integration.
• Unit, integration, and user‑acceptance testing.
