Director of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial function of Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche, a 5‑star hotel in the heart of Casablanca and part of the Accor group. The role will drive financial planning, reporting and strategic analysis to support the hotel’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel’s annual budgeting and financial planning process aligned with strategic objectives.
• Monitor budget performance, identify cost‑saving opportunities and present regular financial reports to management and owners.
• Analyse revenue streams across rooms, food & beverage and ancillary services, working closely with revenue management to optimise pricing.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, treasury functions and ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards.
• Lead the finance team, including accountants and analysts, providing coaching, performance management and training.
• Coordinate external audits, internal controls and financial risk assessments to safeguard assets.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with a professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of senior finance experience in a hotel environment.
• Proven leadership ability to manage and motivate finance teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with owners and senior management.
• Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to solving financial issues.
• Ability to assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
