Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the property executive committee, reporting directly to the General Manager and functionally to the Regional Senior Director of HR. This senior leader will shape and execute the HR strategy for the property, ensuring talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management and employee development are aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the property’s HR strategy, translating business priorities into actionable HR plans.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession management and performance development initiatives.
• Oversee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and monitor HR metrics such as retention and employee satisfaction.
• Coordinate the human capital review process, assess leadership pipelines and drive succession planning across the property and market.
• Champion the effective use of the myHR system by managers and employees.
• Serve as a change manager for high‑impact employee initiatives and represent HR results at owners’ meetings.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in HR generalist functions, talent management and workforce planning.
• Strong ability to work independently, influence senior leadership and drive results.
