Director of Human Resources – Rabat Hotel

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the General Manager and sit on the property executive committee. This senior leader is responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy for the Rabat Marriott Hotel, covering talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and the effective use of HR technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a property‑wide HR strategy aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, employee development, and coaching programs.
• Coordinate the human capital review process and monitor the leadership pipeline.
• Ensure effective adoption and use of the myHR system by managers and staff.
• Act as a change manager for high‑impact HR initiatives.
• Present HR metrics (retention, open positions, employee satisfaction, training results) at owners’ meetings.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field + 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree + 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in human resources within the hospitality sector.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, communication and coaching capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HRIS platform.
