Director of Operations – Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee all hotel operations at our property in Fes, Morocco. The Director of Operations will drive the delivery of brand‑standard service, maximize financial performance and ensure an exceptional guest experience across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property‑wide operational strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Monitor profitability, analyze service trends and make data‑driven decisions to achieve financial targets.
• Oversee revenue management, occupancy, rate setting and control of wages and other controllable expenses.
• Lead department heads (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Recreation) to ensure consistent service quality and brand compliance.
• Review guest feedback, address service issues and implement corrective actions to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Foster positive owner relations and support employee engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales/marketing or operations management.
• Proven track record in managing multi‑department hotel operations and delivering financial results.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial statements and performance reports.
