Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations is the strategic business leader for the hotel’s overall operations, overseeing Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering. The role works with department heads to implement brand strategies, drive revenue, and ensure guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the brand’s business goals.
• Monitor financial performance, manage profitability, and control wages and expenses.
• Lead department teams, communicate clear goals, and foster a culture of service excellence.
• Review guest feedback, address complaints, and ensure a high‑quality guest experience.
• Oversee human‑resources activities, including performance reviews, employee communication, and policy enforcement.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Proven experience managing hotel operations, front desk, housekeeping, sales, or related areas.
• Strong analytical skills to assess service issues, financial results, and market trends.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
