EE Control Architect

About the role

The EE Control Architect will lead the definition and maintenance of the Electrical & Electronic (E/E) architecture for automotive projects. You will work closely with Vehicle System Architects, Infrastructure Architects and cross‑functional teams to ensure functional changes are correctly allocated and integrated into the vehicle’s E/E baseline.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional changes and assess impact on the E/E architecture.
• Define allocation concepts and ensure consistency between functional specifications, subsystem allocations and the E/E baseline.
• Participate in design groups, producing architecture deliverables such as allocation summaries, interface views and infrastructure models.
• Verify compliance of subsystem allocations with architecture constraints and manage product diversity across vehicle configurations.
• Support functional safety and cybersecurity architecture activities and integrate them into system design.
• Maintain E/E interface synthesis, system mapping documentation and technical files (EEAD, DCI).
• Use CATIA V6, ENOVIA, EEA, VISION and OSACA to develop and review architecture data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• Experience in automotive E/E architecture and subsystem design, including functional analysis, system allocation and interface management.
• Good understanding of the automotive V‑Cycle, functional safety and cybersecurity concepts.
