Electrical Engineer – Embedded Systems for UAVs

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer at Harmattan AI you will design and develop high‑performance electronic boards and embedded systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. You will work on flight controllers, companion computers and electronic speed controllers that power mission‑critical defense platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define architecture and integrate processors, DDR/Flash memory and peripherals into complex UAV systems.
• Create detailed schematics and perform PCB placement/routing while managing high‑speed signal constraints.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and GNC teams to ensure seamless physical and sensor integration.
• Address electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) challenges and guarantee signal integrity.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, integration and performance validation of electronic boards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in complex electronic system design.
• Proficiency with electronic CAD tools such as Altium.
• Hands‑on experience using electronic test equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
