Electrical Engineer – Power & Automation

About the role

We are seeking motivated Electrical Engineers to join our Electrical & Instrumentation Department, a core function responsible for power systems and industrial automation in a chemical production environment. The role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing both high‑ and low‑voltage electrical systems to ensure a safe, reliable, and continuous power supply.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain high/low voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and related equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and handle electrical faults to guarantee uninterrupted production.
• Select and commission motors, VFDs, switchboards, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment according to process requirements.
• Maintain and optimize PLC and DCS control systems, troubleshoot logic and communication issues.
• Analyze electrical consumption data, propose energy‑saving measures such as power factor correction and smart lighting.
• Prepare and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment registers, and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with power distribution, equipment selection, and automation control in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of safety and explosion‑proof standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with process engineers and maintenance teams.
