Emission Calibration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Emission Calibration Engineer to develop and fine‑tune engine control strategies that minimise exhaust emissions. The role involves working on fuel injection, air management, EGR and after‑treatment systems for both engine and vehicle platforms, primarily in our Casablanca site.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate engine control units (ECU) for fuel injection, air management, EGR and after‑treatment to achieve emission targets.
• Plan and execute engine and vehicle tests on dyno, road and laboratory rigs to validate emissions performance.
• Analyse test data, adjust calibration parameters and ensure compliance with Euro, EPA or local regulations.
• Support certification processes and prepare documentation for regulatory approval.
• Collaborate with powertrain, software and validation teams to resolve emissions‑related issues.
• Identify optimisation trade‑offs between emissions, performance and fuel consumption.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or related engineering field.
• Understanding of internal combustion engines, combustion processes and emission control systems.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics (OBD, trouble codes) and ECU architecture.
• Knowledge of emissions regulations and testing procedures.
• Driver’s licence B.

• Calibration tools: INCA, CANape, MDA, CRETA, Optisim.
• Data analysis and interpretation.
