Equipment Coordinator

About the role

The Equipment Coordinator ensures that bulk raw materials are accurately weighed, prepared, and made available for production while maintaining equipment performance and safety standards. This position works closely with production teams in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and prepare bulk raw materials according to specifications.
• Inspect, verify, and maintain weighing equipment and related machinery daily.
• Document raw material weights, equipment maintenance activities, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate material preparation schedules with production teams to ensure timely availability.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Conduct quality‑control checks and record results.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and provide technical training to staff.
• Participate in safety audits and promote a safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience operating equipment in bulk‑material handling or a similar industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Physical capability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in an industrial environment.
