Events, Partnerships & PR Specialist (Zenata, Morocco)

About the role

The Events, Partnerships & PR Specialist will support IKEA Morocco’s growth by planning and executing high‑impact events, building strategic partnerships and managing public relations initiatives. Working closely with the Service Office, the role adapts regional campaigns to the Moroccan market and ensures a consistent brand experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute commercial events and marketing activations that align with IKEA campaigns and commercial priorities.
• Coordinate store openings, pop‑up launches and special customer events, ensuring seamless execution.
• Manage event logistics, suppliers, production, budgets and timelines to deliver on‑time, on‑budget experiences.
• Guarantee that all activations reflect a consistent IKEA brand experience and drive customer acquisition, visitation and sales.
• Identify, develop and manage strategic B2B and B2C partnerships that support IKEA’s business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial partners, institutions, NGOs, developers and other external stakeholders.
• Identify sponsorship and collaboration opportunities aligned with IKEA’s brand and commercial priorities.
• Negotiate partnership agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and evaluate partnership performance and business impact.
• Develop and execute public‑relations activities supporting product launches, campaigns and commercial initiatives.
• Coordinate media coverage around commercial campaigns and seasonal activities, including media previews, product launches and press events.
• Build relationships with lifestyle, home‑furnishing and consumer media, identifying storytelling opportunities that increase brand awareness and commercial impact.
• Coordinate interviews, podcasts and editorial opportunities that support IKEA campaigns.
• Support and strengthen IKEA Morocco’s corporate reputation by coordinating local PR activities related to corporate announcements and sustainability initiatives.
