Executive Business Coordinator & Biosafety Specialist

About the role

The Executive Business Coordinator & Biosafety Specialist acts as a strategic partner to the Country Manager and the leadership team, combining high‑level executive support with site‑wide biosafety oversight. This role ensures smooth coordination of leadership activities, efficient organizational operations, and full compliance with biological safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact and gatekeeper for the Country Manager, managing complex calendars, travel arrangements, and high‑priority communications.
• Support the leadership team with agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and action‑item tracking.
• Plan, coordinate and execute corporate events such as town halls, leadership retreats and other organizational functions.
• Oversee administrative workflows, special projects and collaborate with finance and procurement on purchase requisitions.
• Develop, update and enforce local biosafety policies and procedures in line with Roche Group requirements and WHO standards.
• Partner with line management to conduct and revise risk assessments for potentially infectious materials.
• Conduct regular inspections of workspaces handling contaminated instruments to ensure compliance with biosafety levels and legal regulations.
• Organise health programmes for employees, including Hepatitis B vaccination campaigns and personal protective equipment management.

Required profile

• Strategic collaborator with proven experience supporting senior executives.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder liaison.
• Knowledge of biosafety regulations, risk‑assessment processes and compliance inspection practices.
• Ability to manage contracts, negotiate with service providers and maintain accurate records.
