External Quality Engineer – Manufacturing & PPAP

About the role

We are looking for an External Quality Engineer to join our Rabat Technopolis Electronics plant. You will act as the bridge between the manufacturing floor and our customers, ensuring prototype parts and production runs meet all quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review prototype parts in‑plant and monitor customer performance during prototype phases.
• Coordinate the PPAP process, compile required documentation and submit the PSW on schedule.
• Participate in Process‑FMEA activities and develop control plans for new projects.
• Implement operator self‑control instructions and follow the PPAP checklist.
• Monitor customer KPIs via B2B portals and ensure timely project milestone follow‑up.
• Enforce Lear’s environmental and quality policies, with authority to stop production or shipment when non‑conformities arise.
• Ensure product and process conformance to IATF standards, customer‑specific and regulatory requirements, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in an automotive or electronics environment.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of auditing tools, quality tools and management systems.
