Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will lead the planning, budgeting and execution of preventative maintenance across all company assets, ensuring that sheds, offices and residential facilities remain safe, functional and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventative maintenance plans, budgets and schedules.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of electricians, mechanics, plumbers, civil workers and external contractors.
• Monitor and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, including generators, compressors, power distribution and programmable controls.
• Oversee daily maintenance requests, ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and reports for all maintenance activities.
• Manage annual maintenance budget and track cost performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in facility and maintenance management, preferably in garment or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet aggressive timelines.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Installation and maintenance of compressors, generators, hydraulic, electric, water and pressure systems.
• Maintenance of electrical and mechanical machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign.
