Finance & Accounts Lead

About the role

The Finance & Accounts Lead will be responsible for steering all financial activities of a Joint Venture, ensuring robust financial planning, control, and reporting across multiple projects. This senior position reports to senior management and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project finance management, monitoring costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Oversee the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Manage end‑to‑end finance and accounting operations, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance in Morocco, coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Establish financial governance, internal controls, and risk mitigation mechanisms.
• Act as the primary finance contact for Joint Venture partners and internal management, providing financial guidance for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions for joint‑venture or project‑based environments.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Ability to analyse financial risks, cost variances, and profitability.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, collaborating with project, commercial, and operational teams.
