Finance Manager MEA

About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a Finance Manager for its Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, based in Rabat, Morocco. You will be the primary finance owner for the region, building a team of country finance correspondents as the footprint expands and partnering with commercial teams on government and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial management of regional entities, including accounting, controlling, and monthly/annual closings on the Group calendar.
• Manage vendor invoicing, payroll entries, payments, and coordinate local tax, statutory compliance, and audits.
• Oversee trade finance and banking relationships, structuring letters of credit, guarantees, and financing solutions for government contracts.
• Act as finance business partner to sales, business development, and marketing, supporting long‑term business plans and industrial investment projects.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of senior finance experience with ownership of multiple legal entities in an international group.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; Master’s or local accounting qualification preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in trade finance, including letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Deep knowledge of the Moroccan banking and administrative environment and exposure to Gulf/MEA markets.

• Trade finance instruments (letters of credit, bank guarantees, financing structuring).
• Financial accounting, controlling, and month‑end closing processes.
• Intercompany invoicing, management fees, and transfer‑pricing documentation.
