Finance Responsible for Greenfield Plant

About the role

Sanden is launching a new HVAC assembly plant in Tangier and seeks a Finance Responsible to lead local finance operations. You will be the primary finance expert on site, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and effective support to the plant and the wider Sanden finance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities including general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets and expense accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings in line with Moroccan GAAP and group reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Moroccan statutory, tax and free‑zone regulations and coordinate all related filings.
• Act as the main contact for statutory, tax and other local audits, preparing schedules and evidence.
• Support cash‑flow planning, bank coordination and working‑capital execution under group policies.
• Implement and continuously improve local finance processes, including ERP/SAP rollout.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, statutory finance, tax or audit, preferably in an automotive industrial environment.
• BAC+5 or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards, tax regulations and free‑zone requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills with ability to meet tight closing, tax and audit deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of Moroccan accounting and statutory requirements.
• Solid experience with SAP (or other ERP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent spoken and written French and English.
