Finance Team Lead

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is looking for a Finance Team Lead in Mohandseen, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role covers managing the finance team, handling month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage people: ensure compliance with company values, policies and the Code of Conduct; lead onboarding of new colleagues; set targets and hold weekly one-on-one performance reviews, with semi-annual and annual formal feedback.
• Financial operations: manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing; prepare and review balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements; oversee accounts payable and receivable; conduct financial analysis of trends and variances.
• Budgeting and forecasting: assist the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, monitor departmental spending and report deviations to management.
• Compliance and internal control: ensure transactions comply with local regulations and internal policies, coordinate with external auditors, and maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Information security: follow security policies, implement controls, report incidents and take part in security awareness training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6-8 years of experience in finance and 2 years as a manager.
• Age up to 42 years.
• Previous experience in commerce or another relevant industry preferred.

Required skills

• Odoo user is highly preferable.
