Finance Transformation Consultant – Digital Close

About the role

Deloitte Extended Services is seeking a Finance Transformation Consultant to help clients modernize their record‑to‑report (R2R) processes. The role focuses on implementing digital close solutions, improving financial reporting efficiency, and leveraging emerging technologies such as Generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and configuration of digital close tools including BlackLine, Redwood, Workiva and OneStream.
• Support finance transformation projects aimed at streamlining intercompany reconciliation, financial reporting, and close cycles.
• Gather client requirements, analyse current processes, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in solution design, deployment, and post‑implementation support to ensure timely delivery.
• Leverage Generative AI and other automation technologies to enhance finance processes.
• Prepare documentation, training materials, and presentations to facilitate tool adoption.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for digital finance solutions.
