Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will support internal management decision‑making by delivering accurate business performance analysis and economic information through robust accounting methods. You will help shape management and execution plans to maximise overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regular management activity reports covering sales, marketing spend and profit, and address related issues.
• Participate in monthly and yearly closing, forecast and target planning.
• Provide profit variance analysis by division, product and country.
• Establish and manage budget plans for expenses and investments.
• Conduct cost accounting and profitability analysis for products and business units.
• Review financial statements and ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Strong financial analysis and management reporting capability.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Understanding of financial statements, cost allocation and account reconciliation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions and financial modelling.
