Financial Controller

About the role

RemotePass is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the month‑end and year‑end close, reporting and compliance for its global entities. The role ensures accurate financial statements, timely regulatory filings and robust internal controls across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end and year‑end close cycle for all entities, delivering consistent and accurate reports.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, contractor reconciliations, intercompany transactions and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate local audits, tax filings and compliance with in‑country accountants.
• Develop and maintain internal controls aligned with local GAAP/IFRS requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors and local accounting firms.
• Drive standardisation and automation of finance processes to reduce manual effort.
• Support financial due diligence, integration of new entities and acquisitions.
• Consolidate multi‑currency financials into a unified group‑level view.
• Oversee cash‑flow, treasury management, intercompany funding and FX exposure.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis at entity and consolidated levels.
• Mentor and develop a growing team of accountants and finance analysts.

Required profile

• 6+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2‑3 years in multi‑entity or multi‑country consolidation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Proven ability to close books across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
